    CEO — Theos AI

To sell on WhatsApp with AI in 2026, the most complete options are Theos, respond.io, Kommo, Wati and Leadsales. If you also sell on Instagram and Facebook, or need to go out and find B2B customers, Theos covers everything with a single agent. If your priority is a shared inbox for a large team, respond.io or Kommo. For e-commerce, Wati. If you're in Latin America and want a local vendor, Leadsales, Cliengo or Botmaker.

Disclosure: Theos is our product. Prices are what each company publishes on its website as of September 2026, in US dollars unless noted, linked to the source. For almost all of them, add the fees Meta charges for some messages.

What you need to sell on WhatsApp with AI

  1. The official WhatsApp Business API. It's how you connect a number to a platform with multiple users and AI agents. Connecting through WhatsApp Web can work to start, but it isn't the official route for working at scale.
  2. A Meta-authorized provider. Look for "Meta Business Partner" or official WhatsApp provider. Theos, Wati and Botmaker, for example, are.
  3. A verified business and website. Meta asks for business details to approve the number. Leadsales, for example, notes in its FAQ that the API requires a registered company and its own website.
  4. Budget for Meta's message fees. Some messages, such as templates sent outside the 24-hour window since the customer's last message, are charged separately, and the price varies by country.
  5. An agent that sells, not just replies. The difference is qualifying, recommending, handling objections and closing (payment link, booking or meeting). We explain it in what is an AI sales agent.

The tools, one by one

1. Theos

What it is: an AI sales agent that answers every WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook message in seconds, in your voice. It qualifies the lead, tags the chat, handles objections and books or sells, day and night. If you sell B2B, it also goes out to find customers: it finds decision-makers and writes to them.

Strengths:

  • Runs on Meta's official APIs (Theos is a Meta Business Partner).
  • One agent for WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, plus B2B prospecting.
  • Builds your sales strategy from your website and lets you test conversations before going live.
  • Mobile app and sync with Salesforce, HubSpot, Odoo and Attio.

Keep in mind: it's built to sell with AI. If you only need a shared inbox for your team to answer by hand, an inbox tool may be enough.

2. respond.io

What it is: an omnichannel team inbox with workflows and autonomous AI agents for sales, marketing and support, plus WhatsApp and Messenger calls.

Strengths: many channels, AI credits included (5,000 on Starter) and a Spanish-language site.

Keep in mind: Capterra reviewers call it costly for small businesses and not beginner-friendly. WhatsApp fees are extra.

Price: Starter 79/moannualor79/mo annual or 99 monthly; Growth 159/159/199 (pricing).

3. Leadsales

What it is: a Mexican CRM for WhatsApp and social selling, with a shared inbox, sales pipelines and Lead Agent, an AI agent that attends, qualifies and follows up with prospects 24/7.

Strengths: built for LATAM SMBs, no lock-in, with discounts for quarterly, semi-annual or annual billing.

Keep in mind: the Básico plan connects through WhatsApp Web; the official API is on Profesional and Avanzado. Lead Agent pricing after the free first month isn't published, and it has few independent reviews.

Price: Básico 97/mo(3users),Profesional97/mo (3 users), Profesional 133, Avanzado $247 (pricing).

4. Kommo

What it is: formerly amoCRM, an all-in-one CRM for selling over WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok, with pipelines, AI agents and AI appointment booking on the Pro plan.

Strengths: a pipeline CRM built for chat, with Spanish and Portuguese versions.

Keep in mind: priced per user with a 6-month minimum. Capterra reviewers mention a learning curve and slow support.

Price: Base 25,Advanced25, Advanced 35 and Pro $45 per user/mo (pricing).

5. Wati

What it is: a platform on the WhatsApp Business API with an inbox, broadcasts, chatbots and AI agents. It describes itself as a Meta Premium Partner.

Strengths: strongly focused on WhatsApp and e-commerce, with a Spanish pricing page.

Keep in mind: WhatsApp template messages are charged per message, and the number of AI agents depends on the plan.

Price: Growth 45/moannualor45/mo annual or 59 monthly (pricing).

6. Manychat

What it is: a chat marketing tool built on flows: replies to comments, stories and DMs. Very popular on Instagram and TikTok.

Strengths: a free plan and a low price. Its Pro plan can move leads from Instagram or TikTok into WhatsApp to close the sale.

Keep in mind: it runs on flows; it isn't an autonomous sales agent. The Essential plan excludes WhatsApp. New pricing launched in March 2026.

Price: free up to 25 contacts; Essential 17/mo;Pro17/mo; Pro 39/mo or $29 annual (Manychat help center).

7. Cliengo

What it is: an Argentine conversational AI platform for capturing leads from the web, WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, with AI agents and a copilot that summarizes conversations.

Strengths: local, focused on real estate, education, health and automotive.

Keep in mind: the WhatsApp API is on the Business plan, and Capterra reviewers rate its support 3.8 out of 5.

Price: Starter 45/mo,Premium45/mo, Premium 119, Business $259 (pricing).

8. Botmaker

What it is: an Argentine platform for building autonomous AI agents for chat, email and voice, with offices across Latin America and official WhatsApp provider status.

Strengths: many channels (including Mercado Libre and Apple Messages) and an enterprise focus.

Keep in mind: very few independent reviews are published.

Price: Standard 149/mo(3,000conversations),Scale149/mo (3,000 conversations), Scale 249, Pro $499 (pricing).

9. Omnifox

What it is: a new (2026) omnichannel inbox with a CRM, workflows and text and voice AI agents, aimed at SMBs in Latin America and Spain.

Strengths: low price, billed per team rather than per user.

Keep in mind: it's very new and has no independent reviews yet.

Price: Lite from $29/mo billed annually (pricing).

FAQ

Yes. An AI agent connected to the official WhatsApp Business API replies in seconds, qualifies the customer, recommends the product, handles objections and closes with a payment link, a booking or a meeting. The key is giving the agent your business context and a clear goal.

A chatbot follows fixed flows ("press 1, 2 or 3"). An agent understands what the customer writes, handles objections and moves the conversation toward the sale.

To work with multiple users, AI agents and volume, yes. It's Meta's official route. The WhatsApp Business app works for answering by hand, but not for scaling.

In September 2026, SMB tools cost from about $25–100 per month, plus the fees Meta charges for some messages depending on the country. Enterprise solutions quote custom pricing.

Most of these tools also handle Instagram and Messenger. Theos answers on all three with the same agent through Meta's official APIs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Theos is an AI sales agent. For B2B, Theos does your cold outreach: it reaches decision-makers on B2B social networks, writes personal messages in your voice, follows up, handles objections and books qualified meetings on your calendar. For B2C, it answers every Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp message in seconds, qualifies the lead and closes the sale in chat.

Most tools send messages. Theos sells. It builds a strategy around your product or service, holds real conversations, qualifies each lead and books the meeting or closes the sale. One agent covers outbound and inbound, learns from every reply and keeps your CRM in sync. Think of it as Claude Code for sales: an agent that does the work, not a copilot that suggests it.

On Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, Theos runs on Meta’s official APIs, so your accounts connect exactly the way Meta intends. B2B social networks are different: each sets its own rules and can limit accounts it sees as too active. There, Theos keeps activity conservative, lets you approve messages before they go out and pauses when an account needs attention. No one can promise a network will never restrict an account, so how you use yours is always your call.

B2B companies that want more meetings with decision-makers: founders, agencies, consultants and sales teams. And B2C businesses that get leads in their DMs, like e-commerce, gyms, real estate, education and clinics, and want every chat answered and sold.

It depends on your industry and your product or service, but Theos is built for one outcome: more clients and more revenue. We’ve used it to book meetings with teams at Ford, BMW, Salesforce, HubSpot and L'Oréal.

Tell Theos what you sell or paste your website. It builds your strategy, you review it, connect your channels and go live. Advanced plans include onboarding sessions with our team to set up and tune your first campaigns.
